Wildkick promotions have been putting on shows in Plymouth and Cornwall since 1999.

Our first full contact show was held at The Mayflower Centre in Plymouth, and we had 12 Thai and Kickboxing bouts. The formula worked and we have continued to promote shows to the present day.

After a couple of years we branched out to Redruth and Camborne in Cornwall, and with the help of Al Oakley from Al's Gym and WAKT we promoted several shows together including our first Amateur rules contest which allowed novices to compete without the risk of injury. This then led to us promoting Interclub events which gave the opportunity for novice and younger students to compete in a ring under light contact rules, and we still hold these events at the Lower Guildhall in Plymouth.

Two years ago we teamed up with Jimmy Hamilton to promote Full Contact Thai Boxing at the Marjons venue in Plymouth. These events ultimately proved so successful that we decided to move subsequent shows to the Plymouth Guildhall where the capacity is greater. This proved to be a very good decision as we managed to fill the Guildhall and created our best atmosphere yet.

From day one we have used the WKA as our sanctioning body mainly for continuity.

Fighters have the chance to fight for titles but they must have a minimum fight record relevant to the title that they are competing for.
